The Weekend Warrior cabin plans are a series of modules that provide you with the ultimate in design and build flexibility.  Your cabin can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be.  In a sense, you get the opportunity to be your own designer by choosing from a series of cabin modules and then arranging the layout of the modules in relation to each other.

You begin with a base unit that has all of the necessities: kitchen, dining area, sleeping area, bathroom and loft.  All of this is contained in a 16' x 25' floor plan of 400 square feet.  From this base unit, you choose additional modules according to your time frame and space requirements.  By adding another module you could have a large great room and dining room or you could have an additional bedroom and a second bathroom.  

The modules themselves are also adaptable, when adding an additional module with a large kitchen, the previous kitchen in the base unit can become a storage closet.  The bathroom in the original base module can transform into a mechanical room if the additional module has a full bathroom.

Alternatively, you can begin by choosing two or more modules to complete your cabin right away.  You still have the option of adding another module in the future.  The choice is yours, everything depends on your needs, budget and future requirements.

Whether your cabin is a retreat at the lake, a getaway in the country or your future retirement home, your Weekend Warrior cabin can change with you. Rather than having to replace a cabin that is too small or purchase a different vacation property, you have the option of easily adding additional modules.

For those of you who want a well designed cabin with an efficient layout, you need go no further. You can build a single 400 square foot module that includes all of the necessities.

The simplicity of the design layouts allow for a construction of 3 - 4 days with a crew of 4 - 6 people from start-up to lock-up for one module. If you have construction experience or have friends or family who are handy when it comes to the building trades, you may want to complete the construction yourself.
